I have been super busy re-doing my homeschool shelf. My girls store most of their homeschool items on shelves in their rooms. So I only have their tests and answer keys to store on my shelf
It is a good thing too because I have an over flowing shelf with just the 2 boys. The shelf is at the end of the hall so my goal is to make it pretty so it is not such an eye sore. This is a major work in progress and might get a major move to our garage that we have considered turning into a school/play/guest room. So anyhoo, here is what I have so far.
Binders color coded by subject. I have only done Science, Literature, History, Geography and Grammar. I have a few more subjects to get into folders but alas, I ran out of my stash of Better Binders(thank you Toni from A Bowl Full of Lemons for the recommendation) from Staples. I have made my list and have checked it twice for my shopping trip tomorrow. I will eventually have each binder next to the books that go along with the subject.
File boxes hiding lots of paperwork and answer keys, oh and all the junk I didn’t feel like going through hehe. There is also “some” of the books that we are using this year…..I think a few are still hiding in the boxes I have yet to unpack.
I figure that I will have it exactly how I want it just in time for school to end. But just think, I now have a head start on organizing the new school year……cause I’m a glass half full type of gal!

Looks great! This is my preferred way to organize my HS stuff too.
Wait till you see my finished product! I am so tired of all the papers flying around the house. And it just looks so darn pretty!
You sure are one busy mama. It’s wonderful to see the transition seems to be a smooth one and God’s hand seems evident in how things have been working. God bless you and hopefully we’ll be able to come and make use of your(our) guest room
